Dear Reinhold:
As you know, I have been working for
some time on a multi-volume history
to be entitled The Age of Roosevelt.
The first volume is due to come out
in the fall. If you do not mind, I
would like to dedicate this volume
to you. The reasons for this are self-
evident; and I can only add that friend-
ship with you and Ursula has meant more
for Marian and me that I can easily say,
or than this inadequate gesture can ex-
press.
