The Rev. Reinhold Niebuhr, D.D.
2726 Lothrop Avenue
Detroit, Michigan

Thank you heartily for your letter. We are
delighted that your mind is made up.

If we can hear from you in the near future
with regard to what you would like entered in the announcement of
courses, it would help us but if you cannot do it at once wait
until you come here and we will try to hold the proof and see that
something is inserted. We are looking for you early in May as I
understand from Harry Ward that you are to be here.

I pray that this decision on your part may be
abundantly owned in days to come and that rich results will follow
in the ministry of a great many men because of your presence here.

With sincere regards and also with sincere
sympathy in the difficult period of re-adjustment, I am,

Cordially yours,
Henry S. Coffin
